Create GodMode Folders in Windows 7 or Vista using GodMode Creator

Recently, a new word called “ GodMode “ buzzed on many  blogs, news websites, tweets, Windows based Forums etc.

Actually, What is GodMode ?

Windows has a set of certain folders which are identified by unique strings referred to as CLSID or Windows Class Identifiers. These folders can be accessed by using the CLSID identifier codes that Windows assigns to each individual folder in the Windows Registry. If you know the codes, you can launch these with ease. This term is referred as “GodMode” by some journalist or blogger. 

For example:

To open My Computer

  • press Windows + R key
  • Type or Copy paste below line in space provided

So, if you wanted to create all GodMode folder of your Windows 7 or Windows vista, you can use a small freeware utility created by Ritesh and published by The Windows Club called GodMode Creator.

GodMode Creator lets you create 38 “GodModes” in Windows 7 & Vista, 32-bit, with a click.

In short, GodModes are nothing but developer shortcuts built into Windows 7 & Vista, that enable easy access to certain settings and information about the operating system.

Using GodMode Creator, you can create these shortcuts easily. Simply click on the desired button and it will create the Special Folder or “GodMode” shortcuts on your desktop.
