Gionee has launched the World’s Slimmest Smartphone Gionee Elife S5.5 at Grand Hyaat, Goa, India on 31st March 2014. As name suggest, Gionee’s Elife S5.5 is 5.55 mm slim, powerful and means to enjoy the life. Gionee Elife S5.5 is about to hit the Indian market by mid April 2014.
The launch event was hosted by Bollywood’s slimmest beauty Mandira Bedi, The Bakra king Cyrus Boracha and The Gadget Guru Rajiv Makhni.
India is one of the world’s largest mobile selling market where the big players are launching smartphone every left, right and centre. Designed focused, Gionee Elife runs on Android based AMIGO OS and equipped with a stunning 5.0 inch Full HD Super AMOLED plus screen, a true Octa-core 1.7GHz processor, a 13 megapixel rear camera and the world’s first 95 degree ultra-wide angle 5 megapixel front camera.
The ELIFE S5.5 is crafted with a distinct metallic frame and Corning Gorillas Glass Uni-Body. It uses the world’s thinnest AMOLED Screen, thinnest PCB board with a 0.6MM and 0.4mm glass rear cover.
The battery performance is as good as Gionee’s model ELIFE E7. The highest capacity density ratio allows S5.5’s battery to reach 2300mAh. And with the next upgrade, battery capacity can be reach up to 2450mAh.
