Today, Microsoft has announced the global availability of yet another Free Cloud Storage service, the OneDrive. OneDrive, as name suggest, allows you to store your videos, pictures, documents at one place on the go, just like you were using your SkyDrive.
Basically, it’s a SkyDrive with new name, OneDrive. So if you have a Microsoft account, or previously you were using SkyDrive for online storage, OneDrive is already available to you. All your contents are already moved to your new OneDrive account.

With this release Microsoft has not only Renamed SkyDrive but also has introduced many new features like creating an automatic camera backup for Android, sharing of Videos and pictures,sync setting on multiple devices.
Inititally, When you Signup for OneDrive you will get 7GB Free usage + 3 GB extra when you activate your camera roll backup to save photos automatically.
So what’s after that? Microsoft does provide another ways to earn more storage to your OneDrive account. There’s two method, Either you refer your friend, family or anyone to sign up for OneDrive OR You may subscribe to their monthly payment plan. When you refer someone to OneDrive, you will get 5GB Extra storage space (in increments of 500 MB).
Another cool thing about OneDrive is that, it’s available for all major devices and platform. Whether you are a Android user or Mac / iPhone or Windows, you have it on every platform.
