Motion control Smartphones to be feature into market as early as next year

Tiny Israeli start-up company called XTR3D soon to bring the first motion control smartphone into the market as early as next year, reported BBC.  XTR3D is one of the motion capture technology development firms, and has received $8m (£5m) investment bound to kick "touchless" tech into the market.

The development concept is truly based on previously launched Microsoft’s Kinect, a multi-directional gesture control gaming console. Unlike the Kinect composition, XTR3D uses 2D camera may be Webcam or one from your smartphone to extract 3D out of 2D image.

XTR3D is expected to be much cheaper that anyone will be able to afford it, with less power consumption and can be installed into any consumer electronic device.

Apart from the New devices will be having XTR3D interface embedded in them,  whereas older ones will need to download the software from the app store.  Once it’s done, you will be able to moves and execute appropriate commands or adjust the volume without touching or pressing any buttons.
