After Nokia 100 & Nokia 101 low cost mobile devices, Nokia has released an affordable, cheapest Series 30 User Interface based phone ‘Nokia 103’ at a price tag of 16 EUR( approx. Rs. 1000 ).

Nokia 103 features Fresh Design with dust proof key mat, FM radio, 500 Phone entries, 250 SMS entries, Record call duration, Call history management calendar, speaking clock, alarm clock, Integrated Flash Lights, 3.5 mm AV connector and additional preloaded games.

Microsoft Office now available for Nokia Symbian Smartphones

Nokia has officially announced the availability of Microsoft Office mobile app for Symbian Smartphone. Microsoft Office mobile productivity apps is now available for Nokia 701, Nokia 700, Nokia 603, Nokia E7, Nokia X7, Nokia C7, Nokia Oro, and Nokia C6-01 devices.

You can download Microsoft Office mobile app using Nokia Software Update tool on your smartphone or also you can do it by connection your device to the Nokia Suite on your PC. Office Mobile apps will also be available from the Nokia Store in just a few weeks.

Last year we have blogged about the Microsoft apps to Join Symbian smartphone, few of them mentioned apps like OneNote, Lync 2010, Document Connection and PowerPoint Broadcast were debut in February this year for Symbian Smartphones. Now applications like Microsoft Word mobile, PowerPoint mobile and Excel mobile are the latest apps to join the suite of Microsoft Apps built for Symbian Smartphones.

Microsoft Office mobile apps will be also made available for Nokia N8, Nokia E6 or Nokia 500. he Nokia 808 PureView will also come with all these apps when it begins selling.

Google re-designed Google Plus

Today, Google has announced a complete makeover for its Social Network website ‘Google Plus’. With simple and nice looks, the New Google plus is more flexible version – Google Claims.

The Major changes Google has done is re-designing the Navigation layer. The top Static icon navigation bar has been replaced by Left aligned vertical Navigation sidebar or dynamic ribbons as Google calls it. The New Ribbon is user customizable, you can reorder your apps by dragging them up or down, On hovering any apps you will see set of quick action. And dragging an app to “three bold bullets option i.e More” you can show or hide the apps.

This ribbon navigation is designed by keeping future in mind as Google soon going to surprise us by Introducing The Next Big Feature and the feature after that.

Now there’s a New home for Hanging online. Google has added New Hangout dedicated page which lets you to connect with you family, friends more in person. You can video chats with friends up to 9 people at a time or you can Hangout in public if you want to meet someone new or want to watch a live broadcast.

Another cool update is new profile page. Google has re-designed the profile page, Added option to set bigger images as cover photo like Facebook’s Time line.

Google has promised to continue upgrading all features by releasing new features in coming times.

Google introduces new Text Input method Gmail Tap

Google has introduced a new Text Input Method ‘Gmail Tap’, replacing the basic QWERTY keyboard to just 2 Keys ‘Dot and Dash’ for Android and iOS Smartphone.

Reed Morse, Lead Engineer Gmail Tap has tried to bring back Morse Code in picture. Gmail tap replaces default Keyboard in Gmail application with one having only two buttons. Each Alphabets are related with a Morse code of Dots and Dashes.

“ Every letter of the alphabet is represented by a simple pattern of dots and dashes, and once you know them you can type without even looking at your screen. This makes it ideal for situations where you need to discreetly send emails, such as when you’re on a date or in a meeting with your boss.” Says Gmail Team.

Nokia 800C first CDMA Windows Phone Launched in China

Nokia with China Telecom has launched company’s first CDMA Windows Phone, Nokia 800C in world’s largest mobile selling market. The Nokia Lumia 800C is the first CDMA Windows Phone in China featuring Windows Phone 7.5, fastest connection on 3G Networks, exclusive application and services for local experience.

The Nokia 800C features 3.7” AMOLED touch display with 1.4 GHz processor, hardware acceleration and a separate graphics processor, 8 Mega Pixel Camera, HD Video Playback, 16 GB of Internal user memory plus SkyDrive for accessing data from anywhere.

Nokia 800C users will be able to access exclusive music, videos, applications such as For Him Magazine (FHM), Harper’s Bazaar and Esquire magazines , Games like Fruit Ninja and PVZ and many more from Windows Marketplace.

In addition to that, Nokia Maps provides 3D maps of China and 190 more countries, plus content from popular Chinese travel, food, and real estate sites. Nokia Drive is a voice-guided, turn-by-turn navigation app. And Nokia Music offers unlimited free music for 12 months in mainland China.

The Partnership between Nokia and China Telecom has extended with the announcement of Nokia Lumia 610 in CDMA variant for China Market. The Nokia Lumia 610C will be available in Q2 2012.

The Nokia 800C will be available in black and cyan colour models. It will hit China Market in April 2012.

Accept credit card, Debit cards and checks anywhere with ‘PayPal Here’

Today at San Francisco, Pay Pal has announced ‘PayPal Here’, a solution for small business owner to accept payment almost in any form of payment. A free App with encrypted Thumb sized card reader could be used with iPhone or Android smartphone to accept Debit cards, Credit cards, check ,PayPal.

How IT Works

‘PayPal Here’ is mobile payment solution that includes a Free app and a Encrypted Thumb sized card reader. Users need to install this Free application on their Smartphone plus also require to plug provided Card reader to the device’s headset jack.

Users can accept payments by swiping cards in the card reader, scanning cards and checks using their phone cameras, or manually entering card information into the app. Users also allow to send invoice and set payments terms directly from the phone. Once transaction complete your funds will be transfer to your PayPal account.

And for each swipe PayPal Here charges 2.7 % on cards while Check acceptance and mobile invoicing are free.

PayPal Here Accepts multiple payment types including Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover, Checks or your PayPal online account. For now, PayPal Here is available for iOS 4.0 iPhone devices and Android version will be very soon available.

At this time ‘PayPal Here’ is only available to selected merchants in the United States, Canada, Hong Kong and Australia. You can register yourself for Public release over here.

Today Mozilla has released stable latest version of their popular product, Mozilla Firefox 11. Mozilla Firefox 11 added various new and improved features including Add-on Sync, Chrome Migration, redesigned media controls, 3D inspector, SPDY protocol and many more.
