Using Custom Setting to save movie in Windows Live Movie Maker

Using Windows Live Movie Maker you can create a good looking videos by making use of your digital Video clips or Photos and publish it on the web to share among your family,friends or even the whole world .

Windows Live Movie Maker wave 4 offers you various built-in settings that you can choose from when you’re ready to save your movie. But you can also save your movie with a custom setting you create. This lets you save your movie at a quality level and size that meets your specific needs and believe me creating a Custom setting is a very easy process.

How it works

Download and Install Windows Live Wave 4
Run Windows Live Movie Maker from Start –> Program files –> Windows Live
After launch of Windows Live Movie Maker, Add some Videos or Photos and create your beautiful memories using tools provided
After everything done, now its time to saving your videos using custom setting
Click on the Home tab, in the Sharing group, click Save movie, and then click Create custom setting.
To create a new custom setting that’s based on an existing setting, click the Setting list, and then choose an existing setting.
Enter the Name of your new setting in the Name Box
Enter the values for your Video resolutions in Width and Height Field. * It always better to use same size as of the source video size.
Enter the Bit rate for your project in Bite Rate Box. (The Bit rate of a movie is the key to the quality of the audio and video of that movie. Higher the Bit rate, Better the Quality and increment in the file size. Below is the suggested bit rate for Different Outputs. )

1250 kbps – VCD Quality
5000 kbps – DVD Quality
8000 kbps – 15000 kbps – HD TV Quality
29400 kbps – HD DVD Quality
40000 kbps – Blu ray Quality
Enter the Frame rate for your project in Frame Rate box. ( *Frame rate are number of Frames display or projected in One Second. The higher frame rate a movie has the smoother objects move in the movie. )
Select the Audio format you want to use for your project. ( Higher the Bit rate, better the Sound Quality and increases file size )
Click Save and Save. That’s all !

How to Edit post that are already Posted on Blog Using Windows Live Writer

Using Windows Live Writer beta, you can access all your Post / Pages that are already posted on your Windows Live Spaces or other services like WordPress, Blogger etc..

Let’s see How it works

Download and Install Windows Live Wave 4 beta or higher version if any
Start Windows Live Writer ( Start –> All Programs –> Windows Live –> Windows Live Writer )
To Import your post, click on File Menu then click Open
A Window will be Appear, listing all your Blog Account. Click on the Blog that contains post you want to import or edit.
Enter your credentials to login, If asked
After that, Windows Live Writer will retrieve all your Post and Pages from that particular Blog.
Use Search field to search your Post / Pages, if required
Click on the post you want to edit then click OK .
That’s all ! Now Edit your Post / page and publish it.

Download Patch to Run Windows Virtual PC and XP Mode in Windows 7 without VT ( KB 977206)

Microsoft has released a patch to remove the Hardware Virtualization requirement to run the Windows XP mode in Windows 7. Whenever you install Windows XP mode on your Windows 7 system, you usually got one of the following errors:

Windows Virtual PC cannot start because this computer does not support hardware-assisted virtualization

Unable to start Windows Virtual PC because hardware-assisted virtualization is disabled

That means there a issue about Virtualization in your system.

In order to run Windows Virtual PC or Windows XP Mode in Windows 7, you must have a Virtualization supported System. To resolve from this issue, Microsoft has released a update called KB 977206. By Installing this update you can use Windows XP mode feature in your Windows 7 without Virtualization support.

Create GodMode Folders in Windows 7 or Vista using GodMode Creator

Recently, a new word called “ GodMode “ buzzed on many blogs, news websites, tweets, Windows based Forums etc.

Actually, What is GodMode ?

Windows has a set of certain folders which are identified by unique strings referred to as CLSID or Windows Class Identifiers. These folders can be accessed by using the CLSID identifier codes that Windows assigns to each individual folder in the Windows Registry. If you know the codes, you can launch these with ease. This term is referred as “GodMode” by some journalist or blogger.

For example:

To open My Computer

press Windows + R key
Type or Copy paste below line in space provided

So, if you wanted to create all GodMode folder of your Windows 7 or Windows vista, you can use a small freeware utility created by Ritesh and published by The Windows Club called GodMode Creator.

GodMode Creator lets you create 38 “GodModes” in Windows 7 & Vista, 32-bit, with a click.

In short, GodModes are nothing but developer shortcuts built into Windows 7 & Vista, that enable easy access to certain settings and information about the operating system.

Using GodMode Creator, you can create these shortcuts easily. Simply click on the desired button and it will create the Special Folder or “GodMode” shortcuts on your desktop.

How To Reset Your Password on Windows with the Help of a CD/DVD or USB Flash Drive

Many times we face this problem when we forget or lost Windows password or somebody had changed the password of our system. In such a situation either we have to install windows again or find a solution to reset the password so that we can log into Windows easily. In this post, I will show you how you can reset the password on Windows easily with the help of your Flash Drive without reformatting or reinstalling your system.. In this post I will use a Flash Drive of 2 GB.

Below are the steps to reset Windows password using bootable USB Flash Drive.

Step1. Download a free demo version of Windows Password Key 8.0

Step2. Run the downloaded file to install Windows Password Key 8.0. You can install Windows Password Key 8.0 on any PC you have access to.

Step3. Windows Start menu – From your Microsoft Windows Start Programs menu, select Windows Password Key | Windows Password Key 8.0.exe. . Windows Password Key 8.0 will be launched automatically.

Create a bootable USB Flash Drive

4.1 You can click "Browse" to browse Windows Password Key 8.0 image file. The file is usually located as the default.

4.2 Select "USB Flash Drive" and insert your USB into a USB port on the computer, specify the USB Flash Drive from the pull-down list.

4.3 Click "burn" button.

4.4 Windows Password Key extracts the ISO image and copies the necessary files on a USB Flash Drive

4.4: Put in your newly created USB Flash Drive and remove your Windows password:

1. Insert newly created USB Flash Drive and reboot your computer.

2. It’s necessary to change your computer’s setup to make it boot from the USB Flash Drive.

a. pres ‘F2‘ or ‘Delete‘ or "F10" to enter your BIOS setup.

b.Set the USB Flash drive as the first bootable option

c. Save and Exit. Reboot PC.

3. When the USB Flash Drive boots, you’ll see Windows Password Key 8.0 initializing (see screen shot below). If so, you can continue to the next step.

4. Choose the Windows installation to be processed:

5. Choose the user whose password you want to reset by typing it’s number and pressing ‘ENTER’.

6. Type ‘y’ followed by ‘ENTER’ to reset the password.

7. After you confirm the resetting of the password. Windows Password Key 8.0 asks: ‘Reset password for another account? (y/n)’. Type ‘y’ to reset password for another account, or ‘n’ if you are finished and want to exit. Remove the Windows Password Key 8.0 bootable CD/DVD and restart your PC. Now you are able to log into your computer without a password!

How to Turn Windows Feature On or OFF in Windows 7

To turn a feature off in earlier versions of Windows, you had to uninstall it completely from your computer. Using Windows Feature On or Off in Windows 7, you can turn any feature On or Off. The features remain stored on your hard disk so you can turn them back on if you want to. Turning off a feature does not uninstall the feature, and it does not reduce the amount of hard disk space used by Windows features.

To turn Windows features on or off, follow these steps:

Click the Start button
Click on Control Panel
Click Programs and feature
Then click Turn Windows features on or off.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

To turn a Windows feature on, select the check box next to the feature. To turn a Windows feature off, clear the check box. Click OK.

How to Create Windows 7 Bootable USB Device

When you purchase Windows 7 from Microsoft Store, you have the option to download an ISO file or compressed files. The Windows 7 USB/DVD Download tool allows you to create a copy of your Windows 7 ISO file on a USB flash drive or a DVD. To create a bootable DVD or USB flash drive, download the ISO file and then run the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download tool. Once this is done, you can install Windows 7 directly from the USB flash drive or DVD.

To install the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download tool:

Click here to download the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download tool installation file.
When you are prompted to either save the file to disk or run it, choose Run.
Follow the steps in the setup dialogs. You’ll have the option to specify where to install the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download tool and whether to create shortcuts on your Start Menu or Windows Desktop.

You need to be an administrator on the computer you are installing the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download tool on. The tool requires the Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0 or higher. If this is not already installed on your computer, the installation program will install it for you. In this case, you may have to reboot your machine to complete installation.

How to Prevent cut, paste, copy, delete, re-naming of files & folders

Today we have always worried about security , because there’s someone who wants to Harm you by stealing your data in your absence. By using a small but powerful utility you can make secure your data. Prevent v 1.0 (developed by TWC Forum member, Ritesh Kawadkar for TheWindowsClub ) is a freeware app which runs on all Windows. If you don’t want anyone deleting or renaming or messing around with your data, maybe your younger sibling, then Prevent may be able to help you.

What it Prevents ?

1. Stops Cut
2. Stops Paste
3. Stops Copy
4. Stops Delete
5. Stops Copy To
6. Stops Move to
7. Stops Send To
8. Prevents renaming
9. Disables Task Manager’s End Process button. Also it doesn’t allow you to right click on process name and click on end process. It also grays out the context menu items, disable Ctrl+C, Ctrl+X and Ctrl+V and/or stops the process.

To uninstall or remove Prevent, use the Uninstaller situated in the Prevent folder, or uninstall it via the Control Panel or simply delete its Program folder.
