Samsung Electronics has officially announced their Next generation Galaxy series Android based smartphone, Samsung Galaxy S III. Inspired by Nature, Samsung Galaxy S III can detect your face, listen and responds to voice commands, understands the motion.

Samsung Galaxy S III Smart Stay features identifies how you are using device, and adapt itself for better user experience. Let’s say, reading an e-book or browsing the web for instance – by having the front camera identify your eyes; the phone maintains a bright display for continued viewing pleasure.

The New S- Voice feature listen and responds to your words. You can control most of the function like capture photo, Snooze alarm, play music using your voice commands.

In addition to face and voice detection, Samsung galaxy S III can recognize user’s motion. For example if you are messaging someone and decided to call that person, simply lift you phone to the ears and Samsung Galaxy S III will detect the motion and initiate a Direct Call to call the person.

The New S-Beam features let’s you to share content on the go even without Wi Fi or cellular networks. S- Beam expands the Android Beam functionality which allow user to share 10 MB data in a sec by simply touching the another Galaxy S III phone.

In addition to all these exciting new features, Galaxy S III bundles ‘Photo Buddy Share’ function to share pictures, ’AllShare Cast’ to connect device with your television wirelessly, ‘Pop Up play’ to play video anywhere on the screen while doing your task simultaneously and many more.

Microsoft Office now available for Nokia Symbian Smartphones

Nokia has officially announced the availability of Microsoft Office mobile app for Symbian Smartphone. Microsoft Office mobile productivity apps is now available for Nokia 701, Nokia 700, Nokia 603, Nokia E7, Nokia X7, Nokia C7, Nokia Oro, and Nokia C6-01 devices.

You can download Microsoft Office mobile app using Nokia Software Update tool on your smartphone or also you can do it by connection your device to the Nokia Suite on your PC. Office Mobile apps will also be available from the Nokia Store in just a few weeks.

Last year we have blogged about the Microsoft apps to Join Symbian smartphone, few of them mentioned apps like OneNote, Lync 2010, Document Connection and PowerPoint Broadcast were debut in February this year for Symbian Smartphones. Now applications like Microsoft Word mobile, PowerPoint mobile and Excel mobile are the latest apps to join the suite of Microsoft Apps built for Symbian Smartphones.

Microsoft Office mobile apps will be also made available for Nokia N8, Nokia E6 or Nokia 500. he Nokia 808 PureView will also come with all these apps when it begins selling.

Motorola Mobility has introduced a 0.4 mm thinner,slim flip phone ‘Motorola GLEAM+’ for Hungarian market. Motorola Gleam+ features 13.5mm clamshell with simple design, 2.8” WQVGA 400 x 240 TFT Display, 2 Mega Pixel camera and video recording at 12FPS, FM Radio, MP3 player and Full HTML browser support. On top of the Flip, Motorola Gleam+ showcases a modern LED matrix display for notifying users about calls and alerts.

Google introduces new Text Input method Gmail Tap

Google has introduced a new Text Input Method ‘Gmail Tap’, replacing the basic QWERTY keyboard to just 2 Keys ‘Dot and Dash’ for Android and iOS Smartphone.

Reed Morse, Lead Engineer Gmail Tap has tried to bring back Morse Code in picture. Gmail tap replaces default Keyboard in Gmail application with one having only two buttons. Each Alphabets are related with a Morse code of Dots and Dashes.

“ Every letter of the alphabet is represented by a simple pattern of dots and dashes, and once you know them you can type without even looking at your screen. This makes it ideal for situations where you need to discreetly send emails, such as when you’re on a date or in a meeting with your boss.” Says Gmail Team.

Nokia 800C first CDMA Windows Phone Launched in China

Nokia with China Telecom has launched company’s first CDMA Windows Phone, Nokia 800C in world’s largest mobile selling market. The Nokia Lumia 800C is the first CDMA Windows Phone in China featuring Windows Phone 7.5, fastest connection on 3G Networks, exclusive application and services for local experience.

The Nokia 800C features 3.7” AMOLED touch display with 1.4 GHz processor, hardware acceleration and a separate graphics processor, 8 Mega Pixel Camera, HD Video Playback, 16 GB of Internal user memory plus SkyDrive for accessing data from anywhere.

Nokia 800C users will be able to access exclusive music, videos, applications such as For Him Magazine (FHM), Harper’s Bazaar and Esquire magazines , Games like Fruit Ninja and PVZ and many more from Windows Marketplace.

In addition to that, Nokia Maps provides 3D maps of China and 190 more countries, plus content from popular Chinese travel, food, and real estate sites. Nokia Drive is a voice-guided, turn-by-turn navigation app. And Nokia Music offers unlimited free music for 12 months in mainland China.

The Partnership between Nokia and China Telecom has extended with the announcement of Nokia Lumia 610 in CDMA variant for China Market. The Nokia Lumia 610C will be available in Q2 2012.

The Nokia 800C will be available in black and cyan colour models. It will hit China Market in April 2012.

Nokia has officially announced its first low budget Windows Phone at Mobile World Congress 2012, the Nokia Lumia 610.

Nokia Lumia 610 features 800 MHz single CPU powered by Windows Phone 7.5 Operating System, 3.7 inches Screen Size with resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, Corning Gorilla Glass TFT Display, internal storage 8 GB, Ram memory 256 MB.

In multimedia, Lumia 610 comes with 5.0 Megapixels camera with 4x Digital Zoom LED Flash, Video recording at 1280 x 720 pixels, 30 FPS plus 3x Video Digital Zoom.

Connectivity wise its good, you may use social clients like Facebook Flickr, Picasa etc. for sharing. It sports Blutooth 2.1 +EDR micro USB, WLAN support, HSDP connectivity at 7.2 mbps / GPRS.

The Nokia Lumia 610 will be available somewhere in Q2 of 2012 for around approximate expected price $200. *Nokia has not yet announced the pricing details.

Acer introduces Liquid Glow NFC powered Android 4.0 smartphone at MWC2012

Acer Inc. introduces its Liquid Glow, Android 4.0 based smartphone at Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona. Acer Liquid glow will be available in different colors version : Sakura Pink, Alpine White, and Cat’s-eye Black.

Acer Liquid Glow equipped with Qualcomm 7227A 1GHz processor powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Operating System, 3.7 inch WVGA display, 1GB of storage and 512MB of RAM. It measures 117 x 58.5 x 11.5 mm and weighs 125g., reported pocket-lint.

Acer Liquid Glow also sports 5 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash, works with latest voice-input engine from Google for continuous ‘open microphone” experience. It also features NFC (Near Field Communication) technology, lets you share files – pictures without the hassle of pairing devices.

Acer Liquid glow will hit market in early Summer 2012. Price details not yet announced.
